"I just wanted to send a note to tell you how happy I was with the install I had done today. The installer was very nice, very professional and took the time to explain everything to me. Thanks for having a great employee."

"Hi Scott –
I think it went extremely well! She was impressed with so many things … most notably, how cool her house was [after living for so many years with that sunroom – and totally suffering through the summer months]. She also said that your installers were there ‘til 4pm working – and that they were very hard workers; quite a job!
I’d say that overall, she is extremely pleased, and the process went well!
Thanks, Scott"

"Scott – I met Benny (I hope I got his name right!) at a client’s boat on Friday April 3rd and he did a wonderful job on a very tricky window. We were unable to remove the sliding piece of glass, but he still made an immaculate installation with no gaps where the glass overlaps and fit all the odd angles on this trapezoid window. I would gladly have him as the tech on any of my installations. Please let him know how much I appreciate his work, and your whole team, including Brittany. They made me look like a hero to my client.

Thanks again for great service on all orders great and small. I’ll continue to make ABC Sun Control the only company I refer clients to for window films."

"TRA Medical Imaging purchased side-by-side existing buildings that were constructed nearly 90 years ago to create new corporate administrative offices and an indoor parking garage. After review of the building exteriors TRA decided to apply for historic status on the buildings and to preserve the design of both structures – this includes a requirement to maintain the original exterior window design. At the same time, the buildings were required to be brought up to current Washington State Energy Code. While the walls and roof could be insulated in response to the Energy Code, BCRA, Architects for the remodel, recognized large single-pane window systems are not an effective or acceptable barrier to energy loss. This presented a challenge to the overall energy retrofit for the remodel.

The solution determined by BCRA was to install a full-size panel, single-pane glass storm window with wood frame to match the existing perimeter frame, on the inside of the windows. Through this storm window an artificial insulated glass pane effect has been created, but due to the large size of the windows this wasn’t sufficient to make the building energy efficient. BCRA elected to have a window film installed on the protected side of the new storm panel, basically creating an artificially tinted, low-e type of installation.

The product selected was the Huber Optik Select ACHT film with visible light transmission of 77% and shading coefficient of 0.63. A similar film was selected for the entry doors and windows at all grade level locations that combined a security protection feature for the openings.

Upon completion of the installation, looking through the windows from the inside of the structure it is nearly impossible to see the difference of visibility through the glass, but the reduced heat gain through the windows is very noticeable.

As noted above, using the selected film allowed for this newly-designated historic structure to be salvaged and restored for use as new administrative offices. The combination of films has assisted with meeting the Energy Code criteria as well as the security functions desired by TRA."

"Words can not express my overall satisfaction with the service, product, and installation of the Lumar Blue Mirror window tint. In life, we make many decisions, some bad, some good. I can honestly say that having my windows tinted in Lumar Blue Mirror by ABC Sun Control has been one of the best decisions of my life. Please feel free to come out to take pictures of my home in its "finished form", and I would be honored if you would include pictures of my home in your "sales binder" to show prospective future customers. I constantly find myself "bragging" to my friends about my positive experience, and I'm sure it will bring you future business!"
